Gil Smart says the GOP primary is over, Mitt Romney will win - but what of Ron Paul and his movement? And how come the conservative bloc can muster so little clout?

  • I can't believe people think Mitt will be ANY different than Obama. I'm voting for RON PAUL

  • Its corporate welfare that people should be concerned with. IMHO Taxpayers money should strictly be spent on public services and people. It should certainly not be handed out to private corporatins like candy by politicians who have clearly been bought. There are a large number of US corporations that pretty much live off the US taxpayer; defence contractors, Big Pharma, Wall Street banks, Monsanto, etc.

  • @GuyFawkes40 you mean 2 of the greatest presidents that in this country. That not just my opinion its the one of presidential historians. And how could you not understand that people may not have enough or bw smart enough to realize they need to save for the golden years.

  • @megamarsvin ... That's because you are a weak minded group thinker. You think the government should do everything for you. You're like a child that never grew up. You still want mild from a bottle, and mommy to burp you.

  • @LeighMet ... I don't understand a word you wrote. FDR was a progressive socialist. He created Social Security to get people addicted to free government handouts. He was just as terrible a president as Teddy Roosevelt.

  • @LeighMet ... Do you mean the 22 year old report written by James b Powell..?

  • Of course Mitt Romney is like Obama,He will be another puppet for the lobbyists

  • Seriously folks. Check out Ron Paul. I was registered Democrat for over 18 years.... He inspired me to change parties just so I could vote for him.... CHECK OUT HIS PLATFORM!!!!! I know it's scary... I know its different... but at least it makes sense... and it's honest... and his voting record is spotless. Finally,... someone with a voting record that backs up his integrity.

  • @megamarsvin i would expect 4 as well, and although he would try to deregulate everything he wouldn't be any more effective than obama at getting measures through the senate. with our congress the way it is, no president can be effective. he would be trying to deregulate everything, but it would never actually make it off the ground.

  • @megamarsvin Also the more centrilized the power,.. less competition there is between laboratories and stuff like that,.. more corruption and less quality,.. and more chance for (BIG boys) them to put harmful shit on the shelves,.. while deterring small competitors with crazy procedures,.. From what I've read what is going on in US regarding EPA,.. It is ludicrous a bureaucrat in Washington knows what some xy state should be doing
