  • When the atlas Is adjusted so the tilt twisting and shifting of the atlas is corrected. The rest of the spine will begin to realign. Each person will be different. You will feel shifting gong on in the body with out any adjusting the individual vertebra. upcspine practitioners look for them in your state.

Do you measure the body for neurological and physical changes? Can you determine if another adjustment is needed or not. This doesnt look upper cervical specific to me.

  • You are correct that this is not an upper cervical technique. I have great respect for upper cervical practitioners, but there are other schools of thought that have merit as well. No method or protocol is perfect. The ProAdjuster is a good tool that can be used by chiropractors to analyze and correct the function of the spine and musculoskeletal system. Most chiropractors utilize a variety of tools to measure changes and determine the need or lack thereof for an adjustment.

  • Hi Dr. Best again. I have L5-S1 herniated disc for 19 months now. I feel my sacral at L5-S1 grind and shift sometimes. Do you think I would benefit from Proadjuster at my Chiro? I already have a 3rd opinion Neurosurgeon in a few weeks. I'm upset my Chiro never tried this on me. I'm concerned I need a fusion. I haven't had flexion/extension xrays. Do you think that would show more than the MRI. THanks. Cher
