Writer, director, performer and multiple personality, Brooklyn-born Dorcas Evelene recreates her one-woman show with testimonials, storytelling, music and humor.

Described by reviewers as enchanting and outstanding, Dorcas Evelene was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Unwritten, a spirited piece of work, is a comedic spin on the empowerment seminars so prevalent today. Through her characters, Dorcas challenges her audience to write their own life stories; and ultimately asks the audience to define for themselves what is most important in life; the things acquired and recorded or the things that are unwritten. A masterful writer and performer, Dorcas captures the entire range of human experience in each of her characters including an 8-year-old girl, a Vietnam veteran and woman living with a disability.

Dorcas, an accomplished singer, infuses her work with a blend of songs that further showcase her diverse talent and add to the universality of her characters and her message. Unwritten is a tour-de-force leaving audience-goers inspired and ultimately satisfied.
