i did this but passed out and the suit kept inflatting until it exploded and blew two windows out in my grans flat...

Maybe it could, but the weather balloon is so soft it lacks pressure like that of an inner tube.
I suppose that if i just left the pump running the balloon would eventually break through or burst...
