  • I couldn't do the blashemy challange video. I felt as if I would have to accept the religion before I could deny a part within it. I think by denying the religion, I've already denied the "holy spirit. And all without even going there. My thoughts.

  • i hear what you're saying, but there are plenty of things i've rejected without ever accepting. (i reject the idea that women are inferior to men without ever having subscribed to that notion.) the blasphemy challenge isn't essential for an atheist to take. it's just a doorway for some. it was the way i first found the community here.

  • Gee Snowfeet, I'm speechless, I don't even know what to reply to this after a month. But I bet you didn't have to do a You Tube video on rejecting the idea that women are inferior. And no I don't think they are, just so you know.

  • the videos rejecting god are like the early days of burning bras. i don't need to do a lot of things my mum did, because there's a lot more of an attempt in most western communities to treat men and women fairly. i'd like to see the acceptance of atheists move up a notch two. the more people are talking, the better things will get.

(i don't think you think women are inferior. i didn't mean to imply-) :)

  • Hi again Snowfeet, I didn't think you were implying that. I understood what you are saying and thought I add my view to that thought. Sorry for any confusion.

  • oh good. no confusion. we're just both trying not to step on metaphorical toes. we're being overly-friendly atheists.

    it's disgusting. (wink)

  • @th3vampan3z3l0rd Christ's crucifixion made it to where homosexuals, adulterers, etc (but they are still sins) don't get stoned anymore. He also said, "Whoever is without sin, cast the first stone". Read the Bible. The proof is all there.

  • @vouskizzmoi any proof that they are truth? and islam and christianity don't distort the truth of the holy scriptures, christians add a bit on that still contradicts itself, and islam follows another set of scripture.

if you take the holy bible (old testement to any christians) to be true, then do you kill gay people and adulterers despite the commandment "do not kill"? do you take your slaves from the lands around you? etc. etc.

  • The Holy Scriptures (Holy Bible), YHWH (YAH) and Yashuah (his real name is Yahshua not Jesus) are REAL and TRUTH. Islam, Christianity (Protestantism/Catholicism, etc) has distorted the truth of the Holy Scriptures. Yahshua states in Matthew 12:31 & Mark 3:29 that whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. PLEASE DON'T DO IT! YAH BLESS!

  • hi DRAMABUSA,

No interpretations of any abstract old texts would "prove" anything. The certainty with which you declare your myths to be true over all others betrays a well fostered ignorance. Good luck with your life. I hope you can find some peace in whatever understandings you hold.

  • :D yer pretty!

  • AMEN!

  • ha ha, ya we should be ashamed,
