went to Haiti once majority of poor but very PROUD people, enter thru Jimani all the way to port au prince meet beautiful people and I was invited to spend the night in their poor home. will never forget that beautiful family. I am from guatemala and Haiti is BEAUTIFUL.

borinkenlover, i dont see anything wrong with saying a white brother becuz he was just being specific and beside hes the onlly white person there. so i dont see what u're frustrating about. let the haitian people have fun with the WHITE BROTHER

3. - Have I done anything for anyone but myself? - I just came back from my 3'rd trip to Haiti in April where I built desks for a school. I have volunteered at a clinic, feeding center, rescue center & orphanage. I also volunteer regularly at an AIDS/HIV center in Mexico. I'm a volunteer ESL teacher in the US. I plan to continue to "make a difference somewhere".

Wonderful. Keep it up and try to focus on that rather than on one trying to put down, demean, and misunderstand someone who helps others. You have a lot to learn and need to grow. I am on the streets with the poor and risk my life every day helping them. Do you?
