If the chase would not have started the way it did..reset to 5000 points plus bonus points...he would have walked away with the title after race #1!!! But you got me...he did lose it...on the other hand...he got a championship anyway...since he is the owner of Jimmie's car...you have to admit...he had one of the best seasons in a lonnnnng time...30 top tens...think it was 21 top fives...7 poles...and 6 wins...nothing to complain about there other than not getting the champion ship!!
