Using Low Level Light Therapy Laser for Happy Feet and Ankles

Oriens Healing Santuary Owner: Elizabeth Carpenter
Website: http://www.oriensliving.com/acupuncture_yoga_fordancers.html
The Dancers Clinic at Oriens Healing Sanctuary specializes in providing affordable and effective wellness and injury prevention & rehabilitation solutions for dancers. Oriens therapists are active or former professional dancers who understand your needs. $75 for Dancers: Acupuncture, Massage, Yoga Cross-training, Bowen and Laser.

Are your feet happy? Are you beating them up? Tap, pointe and dance of all kinds have us using our feet in ways nature never predicted. From swollen joints and small sprains to tendonitis and floor burns, there's so much you can do!

SOLUTION: For pain & swelling, ice right after dancing, then do an Epsom salt soak (warm not hot) at night. Afterwards, apply a circulation-enhancing linament before going to bed. My favorite is Zheng Gu Shui (which you can buy at The Oriens Dancers Clinic, online, or in Chinatown). Put socks on and let it go to work! Overnight these topical herbs will help soft tissue repair by getting more blood to the needed areas.
Book a monthly Reflexology and LLLT laser session! Reflexology foot massage will work out important areas of overuse and help rebalance the way your feet support you and work for you (all while stimulating the reflex points in the feet to nurture your immune system and the rest of you health). Low Level Light Therapy Laser will get rid of swelling and inflammation and promote cellular repair—ligaments, tendons, muscles, bones—even skin-- LLLT is great for floor burns!

RESULT: happy feet, free of pain, strong, articulate and stable. (p.s. healthy feet are the first step to healthy knees, hips, back and torso.)
