  • Right but I just don't see how we're pushing back unless those machines are used and in a shortening time frame a better fair voting process is insured, and that's what I don't see being done, the support is all there but the system is well intact to the coming election.

  • You...do...realize without a voting system reform and if the same machines without paper trails are used for the election those in power are going to manipulate the votes right? as in even if ron paul is the winner its gonna be rigged..

  • The familiarity between the Vietnam war and the current war is that we were/ are fighting a philosophy (communism and "radical Islamic extremism"). There is no logical way to declare victory against a philosophy. By engaging in war, it not only encourages the fundamentalists fighting for a philosophy, but it serves as an excuse for others to fight for their own land, property, and well being.Our troops are just trying to survive and come home to their loved ones.

Col Tin was asked, "Was the American anti-war movement important to Hanoi's victory?"He responded, "It was essential to our strategy... Every day our leadership would listen to world news over the radio at 9:00 AM to follow the growth of the American anti-war movement.
