Forgot to draw you outline on a new layer so that use its transparency to colour it on a layer underneath? No problem!

  • I got a Question, how do i edited, lets say layer 7, but i am editing layer 8, how can i go back and edit layers? It will only let me edit the last lay i have made?

  • I'm not fully sure I'm understanding your question, but i think i am.

To work on a given layer, you need to select that layer in your Layers window, by clicking on it -- this should highlight that layer in the layers window, indicating that it is the active layer, in other words, the one you will be editing if you take any actions.

So if you'd created layer 8 and then wanted to draw on layer 7, click on layer 7 in your Layer window, and any drawing you do next will now be on layer 7.

  • how to put back the color choices thing i deleted it! and my layer thing

  • Try selecting Window/ Colors.

  • How do you do that with a picture of someone?

  • You're asking for something more complicated (and quite different).

Still, what you COULD do with a color photo is make a new layer, double click it in the Layers window to see its properties, and reduce its opacity, and then just paint onto your image on that layer with the colour you wish to use. It's certainly not a perfect way of doing things, but it may do the trick, depending on what you're trying to accomplish.

If that doesn't help, please provide more detail about what you want to do.
