  • is 400 a good size for a 1st bike, i want one of these but my parents are practically in charge of my money till i move out, and if i cant persuade my parents a 400 is a good size i'd have to move out to get one

  • @JSnyder49428 This was my first bike. I looked at 125's before this one but i found them to be very light weight for highways. I didnt wanna fly off when a semi would pass me. 400cc is a decent size. In Canada, insurance is cheap for bikes 400 and under (3 years back, not sure about now). thats why i went with the 400. much more stable. wish you all the best :)

  • i have that same bike. runs great. fun little bike. its my 1st motorcycle but its pretty sweet.

  • awesome. this was my first bike too. great bike for starters. i haven't bought a bike since i sold this one :( i really miss it

  • This was the first bike I bought myself. Great bike til it got stolen.

  • @thelastyakboy I sold it for $1000 canadian with tank bag and my helmet. I sold it 3 years ago now

  • Hey! I have the same bike too. It doesn't run right now, needs valve adjustments, gaps on spark plugs set, some other maintenace.

It still has the back-swept handle bars that came on the bike and which make steering very awkward and cramped for a guy as tall and lanky as me. When you installed the bars on this bike, did you have to cut the cables break/throttle cables and shorten them up to accomadate the new bars?

  • hey nice bike man I bought a 85 yamaha and love it...its a good ride and its my first bike too and i dont think ill make the mistake of selling it...you should've kept yours.

  • lovely bike. and great sound too. :)
