@kigawman Sorry to disagree with you, but Ibanez was just not trying to help John out. Ernie Ball Music Man was ready to commit to him anytime and he changed companies. Not to say that Ibanez couldn't have done the same thing, but they didn't, and I'm sure that they regret not having one of the best guitar players out there under their endorsement.

i cant really understand that despite having such great and tasty feeling he keeps doing some shred solos with no start- middle- ending section with rudess. And his tone now is a bit more messy( if this is the right word) with all these effects, especially delay. Anyway he is an amazing player and a great overall influence.
