    Your observation is irrelevant. The brigadier general issued an insult to the Senator. Having addressed her male peers properly all day, he then chose to deviate from the military protocol manual that specifies female U.S. senators be properly addressed as "Senator," by calling Senator Boxer, "Ma'am." This was an intentional slight & she quite properly brought him up short on it. Just as he would not condone insubordination within his ranks, she could not ignore his insult.

    You ought to be ashamed of yourself! I'm sure out of those 30,000 people at least 10 have comitted suicide because they have no income because you laid them off!
