Having addressed her male peers properly all day, he then chose to deviate from the military protocol manual that specifies female U.S. senators be properly addressed as "Senator," by calling Senator Boxer, "Ma'am." This was an intentional slight & she quite properly brought him up short on it. Just as he would not condone insubordination within his ranks, she could not ignore his insult.

Sounds like Boxer did a job on Fiorina's image. Haven't even seen her in a political office, yet people assume she would do badly.

She is a business woman. She has a different mindset than the politicians. As long as she remained uncompromised, I suspect she would have exposed a lot of the insane corruption in our government.
