I refuse to buy from BestBuy anymore. We have been screwed a couple of times now.
We were talked into purchasing a BestBuy Brand Blu-Ray player. I was told it was wireless so I was lead to believe it was the exact same thing as the Panasonic I had looked at online but a lot cheaper. Got it home and it was not what I was wanting. It was NOT DLNA which is what I had specifically asked for. I called the store and they would NOT let me return it because it was on sale!!! BULLCRAP So I lost $150

Microsoft wont let anyone do this without some kind of agreement ... and guess what? .... the agreement was that they could do it if they didnt give a hard copy (for piracy purposes) so they can charge for installation.... its business.... its america... its capitalism.... Actually, you were getting the "free" upgrade from Microsoft. The 7 upgrade was a Microsoft promotion and while it was free, if you want Geek Squad to do it, they will charge you. Of course, they will then go online where you should have gone and download it, install it, then create the disc for you. So that's where the disc comes from. If you don't like it, just go online yourself. Geek Squad is a business. You want a service, you pay for it. You want the upgrade for free, go to Microsoft

This guy is a dumb ass. Why would they give you a disc for free? its called a free upgrade so you get your lazy ass on the website and download it. Why should they give you a free disk if they are offering it online? what makes you special enough to get a disc when everyone else has to go onine? of course they have to charge you. geek squad doesn't own a master copy, it is a disc copied off an original so they cant give you a pirated disk.
