Om Mani Padme Hum - Deva Premal

I first heard Deva Premal while on a trip to Bimini swimming with wild dolphins through Wildquest. They played her cd's going out each day and coming back after a day of dolphin encounters. This mantra, in particular, has always been linked for me with memories of the loving energy embodied by these wise souls of the sea.

As for the mantra, there are various translations, spellings and pronunciations. Very generally, the mantra opens the mind to love and compassion and leads it toward awakening.
