Black Keys Chapter 30

"Kay" I said, grabbing my PJs and going to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and then collapsed on the bed again. I remember Kevin coming to lie next to me and then covering us both with the blankets. And then I was asleep again

**Still Kat's POV**
Kevin: Good morning sleepy head
I opened my eyes and saw him carrying a tray with pancakes and orange juice on it. "You didn't"
Kevin: *grins* Breakfast in bed
I beamed at him. "I hope you brought some for you too" I said as he put the tray on my lap. He had put a single flower in a small vase and set that next to my juice.
Kevin: Nope. This is all for you.
"Kevin. How long were you cooking for?" I asked, noticing the bacon and sausage.
Kevin: Not too long. *kisses the top of my head* eat up.
He sat next to me while I ate, and I even got him to eat some. "Here, let me clean it up" I said, getting up. But he snatched the tray away from me and ran down the stairs.
Kevin: Only if you can catch it!
I laughed and chased him. But by the time I got to the kitchen, he was already doing the dishes. God I am so lucky.
Kevin: So, do you want to wait for Aly to get out of the hospital before starting the wedding planning?
"I'm not sure. I definitely want her to help with some of it. LIke the dresses.. and the seating. But... maybe we should start?"
Kevin: Alright. First, the date.
"You said you had thought about it?"
Kevin: *glances at the calendar* Yeah. I was thinking... August 20?
I jumped a little. "That's just a month and a half away"
Kevin: If you want to wait longer....
I hugged him. "It's perfect. So. Guest list?"
Kevin: *smiles* We'll make the list on the computer.
We went over to his computer and sat down in the chair. "So obviously, the families. And Aly, Sara, Bridgitte, Rachel and Shannon. So then also Paul and Cody. And their parents.. Oh. And Don't forget Jazz and Taylor." I added as he finished typing what I had said already. "So, then your family....."
Kevin: What about you? What family are you inviting?
"Well, let's see, Mom, obviously. Aunt Susie. My mom's sister. And Uncle Dave. And their 3 kids. And Uncle Jerry, mom's brother. And Aunt Deborah. And their 5 kids. Oh, you forgot John. My step dad" I added, scanning my list.
Kevin: Alright, and with the rest of my family added, that's a pretty good list we've got already.
I smiled. "I think I'm good with that list. You?"
Kevin: I'll just add a few of my friends. How about Jason Dolley, Mitchell Sprouse.. and his 2 younger brothers of course.
"Did I ever meet them?"
Kevin: The brothers? I don't think so. You'd remember them if you had. Dylan and Cole. They're twins, 2 years younger than you. Mitchell said that Cole's got a girlfriend, so he'll probably want to bring her. And I think that's it for me.
"Have you given any thought on your best man?" I asked, wondering if it would be one of his brothers.
Kevin: Yeah. I was thinking about Joe or Nick.. but I can't really pick between them. That wouldn't be fair, would it?
"Oh, good point. They'd probably get jealous or something." I laughed a little, knowing exactly how jealous those boys got.
Kevin: So I was thinking Taylor. Jasmine's husband.
"Ohhh, have you called them yet?"
Kevin: Not yet.
"You should" I said, handing him the phone. He talked for about a half hour with Jazz. I read through our list a few times more, double and triple checking that we had gotten everyone.
Kevin: He said he was honored that I asked him.
"I bet Jazz was thrilled"
Kevin: She was. She could barely keep quiet enough for me to hear clearly through the phone. *chuckles* Have you figured out your bridesmaids and maid of honor yet?
"Well I can't decide between Aly and Sara for my maid of honor. I've known them their entire lives! But naturally I want Shannon, Bridgitte, Jasmine and Rachel for my bridesmaids. And then either Aly or Sara, depending on who I choose to be the maid of honor...."
Kevin: *chuckles* Well you don't have to choose now. Have you talked to your mom and John about who will be walking you down the isle?
"John of course. He's my dad whether I'm related to him or not" I said instantly. "Had you thought I would pick my grandfather? Oh dang! My grandparents!" I ran to the computer and added them to the list. "There. Much better"
Kevin: Alright. So, now I'll ask you, since I know you don't want a church, where?
"Have you thought about it?"
Kevin: Anywhere you want to go, we'll go. Hawaii? Paris?
I gasped "That's so expensive for a wedding!"
Kevin: *grins* Italy?
I hesitated. I'd been to Italy once, with Kevin. It had been gorgeous and I had ranted for a while on how I'd love to go back. Apparently he'd remembered...
