Full Circle [18]

Hello everyone! When I dont write, I want you to yell at me and force me to write!
So sorry for being gone for so long! Watched American Idol last night! Miss alex so much:(Not gonna lie.. really dont like Miley Cyrus, but this song is pretty good!
Another side note... hate this new youtube. it sucks bunches.

I hadnt spoken to Joe since he had told me that we arent even friends. Have you ever felt like where you think you belong just isnt right? When I had that fight with Joe, all my thoughts on my position turned around. I may have been too dramatic, but usually people dont like to hear things like that. So here I am, on a bench with no other than the enemys brother.
"Why does the sun rise, Kev?"
He chuckled a bit "Am I sitting here with an elementary student?"
I pushed his arm. "Im just curious."
He sat for a moment in his thoughts before beginning. "Somethings got to take away the darkness, Dani."
"What are you saying?"
He squinted up at the sun, slowly lowering into the cool March air before closing his eyes.. ""Sometimes everything isnt anything but wrong. You cant figure out what youre supposed to do in the world."
I was thinking about what he was saying as I licked the ice cream in my hand. Im pretty sure this has nothing to do with the sun and how and why it rises, but Kevin has his own way of thinking. I think its his way of knowing everything. Although you may not know the exact answer, there will always be an answer in your mind.
"Where are you going with this, Kev?"
"Something has to take away everything wrong in life."
He continued, "When the darkness takes over at night, its like the bad things that happen to you, but once the sun rises, its as if all that stuff is gone and its a new day. Its like hope for people. Its Gods way of saying here, youve been through enough yesterday, start off with a clean sheet."
So maybe his reasonings arent the scientific reasons, but they definitely make me think. Im still not understanding what hes getting at.
" Well what about the sun setting?"
"Its the opposite. Move on from that day and start new tomorrow. Forget things that have hurt you. "
He opened his eyes again, and looked at the sun as it quickly changed from its lowering state to setting. Brilliant colors danced around it in pools of blue, orange and pink.
"Wouldnt that mean that the bad things are just going to come back when the darkness does? "
He stared up at the sun before giving me an answer, "Because if something went wrong, its just going to get better tomorrow."
He finally looked at me when I didnt think he was finished. He smiled at me. Maybe hes right. Maybe everything will be better tomorrow.

So a little filler. I kind of liked this chapter though! A little Kevin/Dani bonding! I think Im trying to put a little more meaning into every chapter, just so its not just a story!
