I went to Haiti in 1988, and I think this orphanage is the same one I spent my time there at, although it was owned/operated by a different group back then. I'm not certain, but it looks like the same place. I LOVED my time there, and wish with all my heart I could go back there again and stay much longer, and experience much more. I was only 18 at the time, and knew absolutely nothing about Haiti, but the people I met there touched my heart, and made a huge difference in my worldview forever

No never and they won't help Chile and it will cost 500 times more to rebuild Chile because it is prosperous and 60% white. These people are idiots

Mr. Curtis Long it is so sad that you have posted such a response. Your attitude of "I will not do for you unless you will do for me" is so uncompassionate. If Jesus Christ had had that attitude toward us He never would have died on the cross to pay the debt for our sins. My prayer is that you will learn to have the same compassion for others that Christ has for you and me.

When we have our next great disaster will
these fucking countries come to our aid?
I think we all know the answer to that. They all want america dead until mother nature sticks a boot in their ass,and then who do they come crying to for aid ...fuck you all!!!!!!

HERE'S An IDEA FIX THEM LIKE WE DO ANIMALS TO CONTROL THE OVER FLOW. OMFG HOW DUMB ARE YOU PEOPLE? STOP FUCKING!!!!!!! STOP IT!!!!!!!

This is not a conservative/liberal issue. I am incredibly conservative but still have compassion for the "least of these." The POOREST of the poor in America are wealthy compared to most Haitians. All Americans have access to clean drinking water, basic medical care and food. The lower class in the US are actually prone to obesity, so the reality is that Americans know very little about true suffering or poverty.

people don't get mad, just pray for Haiti.
Haiti is a beautiful country, but unfortunately it's been gorverned by thieves.
If only they would think about someone else instead of themselves. God Bless
