@reahoo Right on Braddah!! Now, don't get me wrong. I'm all supportive with how our culture is advancing and all and I do recognize talents of the younger generation. But the part that I have problem with is our timeless traditional music are being contaminated and it's being supportive and they run around saying "save Khmer music" Whatha!?! From what? THEY are the only ones that it needs to be saved from!! But..... whatha hell do I know...lol

totally agree with your statement. These musicians nowaday are just a bunch of copycats and have no orginalities. To understand true khmer musics, they need to learn and understand what is khmer true culture and that means learning khmer literatures. Many of these so-called khmer musicians lack this very fundamentals. Eventhough they can read, write, and speak properly, it's still not good enough to claim themsleves as true khmer musicians.
