Hey guys, good to be back! Tommygun's baseball season is now over so now it's time to get back to work! By request I'm uploading more stuff from my DVDs but new stuff is on the way! I also have to be careful about what I upload now because of the battle between Youtube and WMG

The last third of Close to the Edge performed live at Queen's Park Ranger's stadium in May of 1975. Available on Yes, A Celebration 1969-1979 2DVD set

You can view the mini-movie/trailer for Yes, A Celebration 2-DVD set at my Dailymotion account here:
http://www.dailymotion.com/user/Tommygun1028/video/x324lo_yes-a-celebration-1...
it runs about 4 1/2 minutes

This fall I will be releasing a new Pink Floyd 2-DVD set that will focus on the 1970-1977 era. Incredibly, there is not much footage available from the 72-77 so if anyone had any or knows of anyone with home-made footage of the Dark Side of the Moon tour please get in contact with me, thanks.

Check out these CDs from my favorite Yes era: Yes - 1969 Time and a Word - 1970 The Yes Album - 1971 Fragile - 1971 Close to the Edge - 1972 Tales from Topographic Oceans - 1973 Relayer - 1974 Going for the One - 1977 Tormato - 1978

  • TG1028, great post. Again.

     - who's on the drums here?

  • @bodoboi Thanks for watching! Alan White is on drums

  • TOTALLy AMAZING!!!

I would like to get this DVD

  • website address is at beginning of video, more info in description box upper right as well

  • Moraz sucked here...

  • I think his rendition of Close to the Edge is very good here, especially the organ climax. I think his version here has more feeling behind it than Rick Wakeman's in Yessongs.

  • Poopin' FANTASTIC! Great job, Tommy! This brings tears to eyes (and gives me HOPE!)

    LOVE IT!

  • The greatest progressive band of the modern era. Wakeman is sadly missed in this era. He is without peer. My most treasured memory was 1973 concert at Festival Hall in Melbourne. I was in about row 6 center :). Thanks TG.

  • I enjoy watching this,.BUT..it's so friggin obvious how Moraz and White's performance and sound pale in comparison to Wakeman and Bruford's.

  • this is epic they look like led zeppelin or something i think prog rock was very big at the time shame a little moron called rotten would come along and fuck music up for ever he should have gone where he was ment to go prison where he could be tortured by being forced to listen to yes pink floyd focus camel and all the other bands from this time till he likes them

  • My favorite touring Yes configuration. Moraz was not defeated by Close to the Edge as Wakeman seems to have been by Gates of Delirium.

  • i want to say thank yuo, to Yes for yuor music, its the very best progressive in the world

  • I think Jon Anderson was just hitting puberty at about this time. : )

    Just Kidding he is great.

  • I get up, get downnnnnn....

    Godd times!!!

  • i neeed weed :D ^^ so fantastic

  • in some parts even better than the classic version. respect!

  • @Tommygun1028 this is the first time I've heard/seen this concert here on YouTube. @plasticPlaystation this is one of my very most favorite songs by Yes. I happen to like the way Patrick plays this. I mean its not the studio version we all know so well. But none the less it still is amazing.

    Thankss Tommygun1028
