assuming sex causes a hormonal change in a mans body, if i have sex with my wife, even once, am i sexually addicted to my wife? (gasp) i need her, can't live without her, i give entire paychecks to her! YES! that's it! I'm addicted to my wife! i even quit caring about porn. what has happened to me? my 3 ex's never affected me this way! oh wait, thats right. after they lied, cheated, and dumped me, porn was there for me. and better to me.

if i use porn AT ALL, am i an addict? just like heroin, only takes once right? hmmm. what chemical changes occur in a mans body when using porn that are different from ,real sex. porn never divorced me and ruined my life financially. porn never cheated on me, always knew what i was getting. porn never loved me, or asked me to love it back. but porn never violated my trust like a real person. i am now porn free. didn't use 12 steps, or jesus, or some BIG PLAN. just quit. hmmm.

I think some people are missing the point. It's not how much time you spend watching porn that makes you addicted it's what you stop doing to go look at porn (and this goes for everything). If it interferes with your work or your family or your health you may have a problem (I said MAY). Although there's nothing presented here that shows that porn is more addictive than say online poker.
