This is very dear to me. Sometimes 'identification' is the only thing can can see us through this--to know we are indeed, not the only one in the world who knows this excruciating pain, that at times, seems to leave many of us looking so lifeless.

You should had Federico García Lorca, Philip K. Dick, Nietzsche, Hart Crane, Baudelaire, Verlaine.

Never had a depression I think. There was a time where I just felt sorry for myself but yeah, no depression.
Good luck to everyone who has it, it'll get better when the hard times are over.
(Also, thank you for the song!)

Thank you for what you wrote 3 weeks ago. This was the first time I saw it. I agree with everything you said....well spoken. There is a heavy price to pay to have understanding and gifts that come with illness, but in the end..."you can see further than forever.
Thank you again. :)

I married someone with depression.I had a beautiful daughter who suffers deaply from that relationship, no matter how much i tried to relate, now matter how much i showed i care, it didnt matter becouse i didnt know how deep the pain & or why the pain, i just tried & tried. I love life, my child makes me look for a positive future. i need a magical word for my ex wife to make her see a future.

Can I recommend a book? It's called "Darkness Visible" by William Styrom. If you could get her that book and also a copy for yourself, it is remarkable. I think my family finally understood me...and I finally didn't feel so alone.
