A perfect little ditty written about the ups and downs of Friday.

Yesterday,
All my troubles were so far away
Now I need a bowl to start the day
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly,
I check the time that it's supposed to be
Passin by a school bus next to me,
Oh, yes, today came suddenly.

Why we
so excited? The weekend's here to stay.
I said,
Partying, 'cause we're done with yesterday

Yesterday,
Fun fun fun fun was so far away
Now I see my friends ride up and wait
Oh, I've forgotten yesterday.

Time is
Tickin' on, but my friends, we don't delay
I know,
weekday order, I learned it yesterday.

Yesterday,
School was for an education's sake
Now I need to choose a seat to take
Oh, I'm glad it's not yesterday.
