Had to edit:

You know, I think we need some back story for those who never really played King's Quest and some of the characters in this King's Quest game.

In King's Quest 1,2,3,5, you played as Graham, who is the father of Alexander

In King's Quest 4 ,and 7 You got to play as Rosella, the daughter of Graham and the sister of Alexander

Casandra is also in King's Quest 5, Graham saved her along with his family

There you have it, some back story,sorry if this was all explained before this comment.

In King's Quest I, 2, and 5, you play as Graham.

In King's Quest 3 and 6, you play as Alexander.

In King's Quest 4, you play as Rosella.

In King's Quest 7, you play as Rosella and Valanice.

Valanice and Graham are the mother and father of Alexander and Rosella.

Cassima (not Casandra) appears in both KQ5 and KQ6.
