MIT MITERS DRSSTC v2 Tesla Coil

Really powerful, best streamers about 6-7 feet long. Never ran the variac over about 65V per phase, ~1500 Watt total draw. The explosions turned out to just be bleed resistors arcing over.

Located behind the MITERS shop at MIT

Specs: CM400 bricks in full-wave with directly connected isolated half-bridges to drive each gate, current feedback loop "steve ward" driver with modifications, arduino dr...iven for audio modulation, peak primary current ~1000A.

Can be driven way higher if I get primary tuning on one of the resonant poles so as to avoid secondary-primary flash over.

The cops did not approve unfortunately.
