K2 CNC router with sherline lathe

This is a K2 CNC router cutting a piece of wood using a 3 Axis milling with a lathe attachment. This is a low cost method in cutting a cylindrical part. By using the milling and the lathe combination we are able to cut more material at a time. By using the vertical spindle we were able to use a small HP lathe. Without the lathe we would have to use a stronger lathe and set up. The lathe attachment is secondary to the 3 Axis router.
