It could be argued that because Canada is larger than the US, that they are really "American" since they have the majority of the North AMERICAN continent. Why are we called Americans when there are other people in the land mass who also are here are not. You would be surprised how many foreigners work in Silicon Valley. They contribute to the American economy much more than you think, yet some Americans are so freaking stupid to realize this.

Without foreigners, Americans would not go to the moon. Ever heard of Wernher von Braun? Yeah, thanks to a few Nazis, the US caught up the the Soviets in the Space race.

Many industries use foreigners and Hollywood is no different. Hugh Jackman, Ewan McGregor, Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, Russell Crowe, Gerard Butler, Christian Bale, Keanu Reeves and so many others are foreigners.
