Kia is poised to shake up the midsize sedan segment with its fast and flashy Optima Turbo. If only it handled as well as it looks.

  • is this in the same class as sonata, camry, accord, fusion, passat?

  • Still slower than a 10 year old, naturally aspirated RSX-S.

I envy you. I'm pretty sure they came out with a bunch of sx standard models now but back then when the new optima first came out I was the first and only sx standard in Colorado.

  • @luminaeus I bet you get into a lot of argument and disagreements cause I saw all your negative comments at the bottom. First of all dont tell me I dont care about cars or driving cause I know there are better cars out there. Second, what the hell are you looking at a KIA video if you like cars that are well-balanced, fling around corner and the feel of front tires feedback? Anyways go to Mitsubishi or a Subaru video and talk crap over there about Hyundai and KIA its well appreciated over there.

  • are you watching; Toyota and Honda?

Obviously you don't care about cars or driving, which is why you are incapable of understanding why people who DO like cars and DO care about driving think Hyundai is garbage.

It's not that the car is unreliable or isn't a good value, it's that the car is simply boring. Until they can build a well-balanced car that I can fling around a corner and feel what the front tires are doing by the feedback of the steering wheel, I'm not interested.
