I took my daughters to visit their cousins and shoot at their range out in the country. It was a beautiful day and I didn't have to deal with the cows (ref. my newsletter "Cows Attack").

It was my daughter's (age 13) first day to engage targets over 25 yards, and I wanted to teach her how to use the ART scope. We are using the M1000 version on an AR using a 5.56/55grain Winchester bullet.

  • I have an m1a and would like to put this scope on it. There is also the m-1200 ART. THERE ARE ALWAYS HATERS AND I'VE HEARD THAT THESE ARE MADE IN CHINA NOW. WHAT IS THE QUALITY DIFFERENCE. IF GIVEN A CHOICE WHICH IS BETTER. THE M100 or m1200?

  • @0700cdf The M1000 is the newest release, plus the easy to use "manual mode" is a big plus. As far as quality and the scope being made in China. It is made in China, but it isn't made in a gov't facility, or multi-tenancy shop. Shortly before my Dad passed away in 2007, his partner, John Wu, invested in a private factory, vetting & hiring employees. John's brother runs the facility. Quality is good with strong customer support. Visit website Articles page with stories I wrote over M1000.

  • @0700cdf Also, for other customer reviews, if you go to re-seller sites like OpticsPlanet, MidwayUSA, SWFA, etc., they have several end user evaluations. Manual mode is really quite easy with the M1000, and it allows you to take advantage of magnification once you've dialed your range. I could also direct you to end users that have owned the M1000 for a while now, and you can get their opinion as well. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Best Regards, Corbett
