What would be really coo would be giant statues of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza on this with Quixotes lance pointing at a one of the turbines.l

learn to live with it for now because we need to find out if it's worth it in the long run. are they worth the bad views? do they make the view better? for me i like to look at them. we will find out in about 30 years how good an idea this is.

It always pleases me to see wind turbines. For years people talking about turbines said that natural beauty would be spoiled, but the opposite is the case in my opinion. I was ona bus yesterday which passed a wind farm just outside Glasgow in Scotland. It's one of the more beautiful parts of a long bus ride I made from Edinburgh to the west coast and I thought the turbines added to the beauty there. I think that's the biggest wind farm I've seen in real life yet.

they can also be painted, till the middle, gradually in shades of the landscape so to minimize stress to the farm and wild animals. I have seen here in Germany many painted dark green in the lower 4 m and then lighter shades of green up to 20 m. It does look good and matches in with the landscape.... take care guys

Thanks. Because these turbines move quite slowly we didn't hear much noise.

Nice post. I'm hoping this is a glimpse into our near future where it's a common place.
