Is there any possibility of you making many long channels and have buttons with the type of food on the other side written on them? When you pressed the button it would either turn on a fan or send a charge into an electromagnet that pushes the food to you?

now put magnets on the side against the plastic and youll have no friction. then you could use the tray to transport soup cans across the room.
What a genius invention! It makes transporting soup cans across the room - EASIER!
or you could hook up a small fan onto it and have it power itself across the room. or use electromagnets.
