Anzac 2010 Commemoration Service held at the 28th Maori Battalion Hall, Te Wananga O Aotearoa Kapa group Te Tu Mataora finished second just losing first place by one point to Te Whanau o Kura. The video clip records the Last Post played with a The pūtātara which is a trumpet made from a conch, or triton, shell. Its loud, signal call is heard more often these days, and is used to mark special occasions such as opening ceremonies.
The group gave a tear jerking performance on Anzac Day.
