what o-ring diameter did you get? I have the latest g2 (non LED)

@MrQuackism I actually ended up going to a small business specialty store where I live (it specializes in plumbing, kitchens, and restrooms). I've tried Lowes before (for an INOVA flashlight), but they didn't have the right size. So... Look for a specialty store (best bet is plumbing related) to find the right size. Oh, I went swimming with the G2X in a lake (certain parts were at least 10 feet deep, if not more) today. Works fine. Hope this helps.

@samtaekwondo123 Dude thanks for your reply. I think i know which empty area you're talking about. But where did you get O-ring that small?

@MrQuackism It works, trust me. It seems like there was meant to be an additional O-ring (there's this empty area without any threads).  I've only gone in a pool that was 5 feet deep, but I examined it underwater (wore goggles, obviously) to see if there were any bubbles coming out of the front bezel or the rear tail cap; there were none. This is the cheapest modification ever, and it works.

I highly doubt it would void the warranty just for putting the rubber o-ring on. But it might if water does somehow get in bc it isnt designed for diving. Surefire is an American company with american standards. They wont give you that chinese warrant bullshit
