This is the scratch built chassis with balance weights and side-rods from N gauge wheel sets, pager motor, brass stocks and some junk parts.

wow, how did you get the pager motor to run so smootly? Is it with a DCC chip or reduction? What sort of reduction ratio did you use?

This loco is driven by a motor controller with pulse width modulation control circuit. Gear ratio is 1:14.

How much smaller will these scales go? N is enough as it is. good work on that little boondoggle, got a diesel shell on it yet?
