@dq00pb the Chinese probably won't tell you, so as a fellow non-native speaker of Chinese in an effort to help you out, your Chinese is very strongly accented by your native Japanese. Which is very common among Japanese speakers of Chinese. If you really work at it, you can really turn some heads when they find out you're Japanese and it may well help you get a better job.

@nirvanafrik one, this is one of the main ways in which this is typically done. two, do you think the man makes any more money by making it round and beautiful? This is basically Chinese fast food, it cost 2.5 RMB ~ 0.35 US, it's supposed to be cheap and it ain't supposed to be beautiful. If you go to McDonald's in the morning, do you complain about the presentation or the fact that what you got looks nothing like the pictures?

@LilgurLish Aaaah yeah, saying this from this point of view... I watched this after watching 20-30 of crepe/jian bing street food vendors, where most of theme make it descent. Don't come to me with that bullshit - ITS NOT THAT FUCKING HARD TO USE A STICK. Using a stick won't cost you or him 30 times more. Get over yourself.

why are you so demanding, it's street food, don't expect the man to do you a nice beautiful round crepes when you pay him only 2yuan5... even here in Paris, the crepes aren't perfectly round and we pay 30times more... quit complaining
