  • Hey great video! but i got a question. I just got my Beardie and it is a little over 6 in. with the tail. Is there anything different I should have that your beardie has?

  • @ranman1101 Like I keep saying it is not Rocket Science. A lot of the time people claiming to know a lot about Reptiles in any pet store will try to make it Rocket Science so that you may believe you never have enough for your pet. This is to keep making money off of you, yes Bearded Dragons are fairly expensive but you do not need to keep buying stuff for them until you are broke. Just try not to feed your Dragon too large of prey and enjoy watching it grow.

  • @ranman1101 People in pet stores will act like they value the well being of their pets so much they do not want you to take them out of the store until you have everything you need to care for them when the truth is as long as you are responsible with your Dragon they are pretty much going to get better care with you than the pet store any day.

  • You should never hand feed your dragon its stupid, you can get bitten. ? Seconds later your hand feeding your dragon. D:

  • @TheMinecraftColiseum Like I said all Dragons have different personalities, especially when it comes to things like feeding. Some are very docile and learn to take the food easy. Where others are very aggressive towards their food and will keep snatching at it until they have something in their mouth. Example: Your Finger.

  • im thinking of buying a beardie would you recommend a beardie or a different reptile? +if i do get a beardie what is the average price of a 40 gallon tank and the accessories that go with it (including the calium powder and stuff)

  • @IAmxSkream Bearded Dragons are good starter reptiles but they need a little more care than most other common reptiles. They are good for beginners and children because of their docile "forgiving" attitude. They are also expensive to have. Just getting them I would say you need around $500.00 just to start. The Dragon, Cage and Furnishings will be well over half of this. Food, Supplements and other supplies will be the other portion.

  • Great information, thank you.

  • i love this setup

  • @jhoverdiek This will help keep any Dragon from getting stressed plus if you are on a regular schedule and home around lunch time (12:00pm) this is a perfect time to feed your Dragon if the light came on around 9am-10am. Because your Dragon has been given the chance to wake up and warm up and has all day to sit under the light and bask to help digest the food until bed time around 9pm.
