Here is a short video I put together on some very basic Dos and Don'ts on framing. I see a lot of not so wonderful framing even on the national level in television. So hope this gives some of you learning the trade out there a bit better of an idea on how to properly frame a subject during an interview.

  • @nadinevanderpol no it odesn't matter what direction they face however you want to try and switch sides with interviews in case you have to butt two interviews together because of limited time and you don't want to create a jump cut between two faces of similar framing on the same side. My next video will explain exactly that.

  • Does it matter if the person is facing the left or the right side of the screen?

  • Just a suggestion: it would be good if you got a different intro sound effect because it hurts the ears. Otherwise, it was a good vid.
