  • And so, with her last breath, the Countess declares her eternal love to the already dead Lulu...

  • There's a reason for the obsession. I know an entire Conservatory of Music that believes he's the standard to aim for. I had to stop watching their concerts - hours and hours of frenetic note-making. Keeping in mind that an audience will breathe along with whatever you're playing, and with a world filled with noise (leaf-blowers, car alarms, traffic, Am radio), I'm simply interested in reducing the freneticism and injecting some kind of thoughtfulness back into music. Just me, I'm weird.

  • I'll work on the spelling. You work on the obsession.

  • Hey Smarter,

I'm not after a career, or jealousy for that matter.

    Spelling man, spelling ....

  • Wow are you obsessing! Jarrett isn't even in this performance and all you can think about is him! I know you're envious of his talent but try to give it a rest! Jelousy will not help you get a career as a musician!

  • Believe me, this is a welcome respite from having to listen to Keith Jarrett hammer on his piano for hours on end.

Perhaps the contrast is needed to enjoy this piece.

  • Definitely the viola section. Also, this excerpt is beautiful. Are you even talking about this video?

  • Didn't see any violinists there...
