What's this "Finisher's for professional use creative material COMPOUND MICRO" (minute 4:48)

@jetpack5 Think again. To get a finish like his you need:
Hobby knife, clippers, tweezers, airbrush, appropriate thinners/decal softener/decal setter, appropriate paint mixers/bottles/etc, lets not forget good sandpaper and in the case of this car you will want the correct buffing materials.
Also important is a paint booth (simple plastic box with a fan attached to it a hose going outside will do), paint gloves and a mask.

not many tools needed, bud. Just a good blade and some sandpapers should be it. Spray cans work good if you cover your model with a small box after painting for a few minutes to help flow out the paint smooth you can build as good or better with that than a bunch of tools. Thats whats great about this hobby is you can choose how far you want to go into it and still make nice models along the way.

Whats with all the polishing going on? Thats nutz. I could see some wet sanding after the first coat of clear over the decals and then another kiss coat to flow it out again and thats IT. Don't touch it. You shouldn't have any problem laying out a flawless gloss coat if your taking all the steps...mainly watching your overspray.

To replicate what he did, you obviously need:
1. A LOT of patience
2. A steady hand and some experience with this
3. LOTS of practice with a sprayer
4. MONEY
5. A LOT of free time
I lack 2 through 5 so I couldn't do anything like this. Wish I could though.
