as the led bulb white may be of typically 3v therefore we have to put a resistior of 100 ohms in series.

REASON

POWER=V*I(SO IF V IS MORE CUT DOWN ON I AND IF I IS HIGH CUT ON V,SO HERE We HAVE MORE V SO TO CONTROL I WE HAVE TO PUT A RESISTOR IN SERIES)
