Dustin Mierau and Dave Morin, co-founders of Path, talk to me about how the new version of Path not just brings beautiful design, but helps take advantage of something that others don't: they let users build a private journal that really rocks.

Robert, it would be great if you could put topics location in video comments so we can jump to the right section. 51min is really long. I wish I had a way to find what's interesting to me. 5 min for you, thousands of minutes of savings for viewers :)

yeah, u can use it with blue stacks, to emulate android on the desktop and use path that way. I havent tried it, but I guess it should work.

I had originally deleted Path over 6 months ago after not finding its place in my day-to-day. After watching this video, I redownloaded it from the App Store and feel like I have a better idea of how to incorporate it into my life. I've stopped using Facebook for the most part to curate any sort of personal friends list -- enter Path. I've also lacked a single place to record ideas or emotions while on the move -- enter Path. Looking forward to giving it another shot.

Path is an impressive app for sure and I really enjoyed to hear the inside story on the app and meet the guys behind it, this is awesome. The problem with the video is it could have been half the length. I had to struggle to watch it because "Rob" wanders off in meaningsless babble all throughout this video and you can even see how Dave Morin tries and tries to keep a thread while presenting the app but keeps getting interrupted... gaaaah! Sorry just had to ventilate...

Tried it on Android and uninstalled it 2 minutes later. Scrolling is reeeally stuttery/not smooth at all. (you can see this in the video too when he gets out the Android phone and starts showing off the app a bit). And since you do a lot of scrolling an app like this....Looks awesome on iOS though. Would love to try it, but until they fix the scrolling, I just can't be bothered.
The interview itself is great though :) Love the guy's attitude. The industry needs more people like this.
