Potential threat to structures about 4 miles out of Wadsworth, on the north side of I-80. Lyon County Fire Department is providing structure protection. No immediate threat to structures in the area.

Aircraft will be up this morning (July 3) to provide a size-up on the fire.

Variable wind directions has hampered containment while pushing the fire in several directions overnight.

A Type 3 Incident Management Team has been ordered and will take over the fire today (July 3).

There is a potential threat to structures about 4 miles ouside Wadsworth on the north side of Interstate 80. Lyon County Fire is providing structure protection.

Inaccessible terrain hampering suppression on the south side of the fire. The north end of the fire is holding. The north east side of the fire is holding due to retardant lines and roads. The south/sw side remains the most critical at this time with down-slope winds pushing the fire out to the south.

No injuries reported at this time.
