@larebe74 < Not really, my $100 gone in 4 months with me using very little but all the spam coming in. Just another thug company and this one is a big thug from royal UK.
BTW, lots of LD phone card companies run by Pakistani individuals - laundering money in Ontario, Canada.
Rogers are thugs too; find a smaller company. Even roaming till you get better price and then switch again - never be loyal to these parasites.

VM is crap in the UK too they only have rubbish phones (cheap nokias) or they over charge for other phones on payg. Contract deals if you can call them that are crap and uncompetitive. Most of the time the 'My account' section doesn't work!

I have a blackberry with rogers and have had 2 before this. I wouldn't recommend a single mother on a major budget to get a blackberry on any network with any data plan. It isn't needed for your situation. I am in no way trying to say your decision was a bad one. It was a "want" more than a "need". In many situations "want" is fine. But in your situation you would not need the extra benefits of the smart phone. Just a normal cell phone and you should be set. I hope Rogers treats you better.

VM USA has no variety. VM Canada has a bunch of phones to choose from. they even have BB Bolds and iPhones. USA only has 8530 which is a start but still...
