Not as bad as it looks. There's another video showing aftermath. About six to eight inches of truck's driver's side was crushed, but occupants (including driver) were apparently (according to others) uninjured. Given that, only concern is whether insurance was sufficient. However, I'd argue column construction was inadequate - awning shouldn't have fallen that easily.

Actually, I believe it was a "he" - as in "he" was attempting to go around the concrete awning, but didn't turn out as far as he thought. And, no, the video isn't an solicitation for sympathy, but a tiny bit of compassion for your fellow man might be nice. After all, we all, including you, make mistakes.

Are we supposed to feel sorry for these idiots?? Take off the sunglasses , lose the tinted windows and slow down, she probably had an i pod, doing makeup and talking on the cell phone aswell
