  • Tips for Indians:

    1. Never attack at night when the whites might not be expecting you.

    2. Insist on making your presence known by giving the coyote cry, thus revealing your position. If a whites give the coyote cry, raise your head immediately to offer them an easy target.

    3. Attack by circling the wagons. Don't stop circling when the good guys arrive. Wait for the cavalry without riding out to confront it, then scatter at the first impact in total disorder to allow individual pursuit.

  • When your first kill in the movie is Lee Marvin, simply 1 of the most badass Movie Star's of all time, that means you are no one to be taken lightly.

This film may contain his highest bodycount, but Big Jake is his most badass by any standard. The Searchers, Rio Bravo, Red River, The Spoilers, Stagecoach, there are too many films & too many badass moments to mention.

    There's John Wayne and there's everybody else. . . .

Everybody Else is just going to have to live with that.

    Thank You.

  • And here's for his good ol' Saddle ring Winchester!

  • ...remember the chicken pox killed more Indians than the gun so the lesson is - if your an Indian don't accept blankets from the white man!

  • @ArseneLupin2009 thats funny mate nearly as funny as queen kenny buying downing for 20 million lol

  • look at the wiki article on the film and it confirms what I said. I read the wellman novel it is based on and it takes place in 1843 after Texas' independence from Mexico but before its annexation to the US. Which is why Regret flees to Texas, which was full of US criminals. Texas was annexed in 1845 so it was before that.

There were steamboats on the Gulf at the time but not riverboats, which is what is in the movie and which would have been swamped at sea. Still love the movie.

  • @glubferm Au Contraire. This movie is set Post Civil War. The Revolver was invented before the Civil War, and the multi-shot carbine rifle he uses was invented during the Civil War. Ships crossing the Gulf of Mexico became commonplace during the Civil War. The Railroads stations that would take Regret back to Louisiana, and the Comanche territory at that time were both in Central Texas, on the Eastern Edge of that desert. And there are mountains and Canyons extending out of the Rockies.

  • I absolutely love this video, one of my favourite videos on the whole of youtube.

Great work!, although I won't get into the habit of calling you friend.

  • Jhon Wayne was gay!

  • @ArseneLupin2009 It is not meant to be a documentary.
