1:30, I would've stopped and felt pro.

But what if you stop for a few minutes to contemplate what to do next in the picture? surely that would create a big gap in the recording where nothing happens? Do you edit it out or do you just constantly go?

amazing detail, very nice =] may i ask how long you have been doing digital art?

It's been years since I passed by. Impressive work as always, cgsbgs. But If I may say... the cat's teeth kind of bugs me : Even considering reflexion from bellow, I think they are too orange-ish in tint. Being a halloween fan, I still love your drawing a lot tho.

Really comes to life with the color man, just awesome.

..cheater.. ;_; now i´m depressed. joke. very fabolous work! great!
I was wondering, what is that step you take greying out the picture then adding the details and colouring the layer underneath. Was that a low opacity layer? It didn't look like the paintbucket.
Can you please tell me how that is done? Unless of course its trade secret then I totally understand and respect.

@TempestKiro I believe you are talking about when I selected the outside, hit select "inverse" then either colored the selection with my brush in color mode, or filled a layer underneath (edit>fill) and merged together.

@cgsbgs One last question (sorry for being a pain)... How do you just select the outside?
I was just trying all the steps you just told me and realised I didn't even know how to do that one basic step TT;

@TempestKiro ...In the layer where your line drawing is, select outside of it with the wand. (make sure your lines are all closed, or the selection will leak inside.

From one commercial illustrator to another : great work.
How many layers do you end up with ?

@MrMuchoNice Thanks! I usually try to stay around 2 layers (foregd and bckgd) then flatten in the end.
