Baclayon Church - Bohol (Philippines)

Considered as one of the oldest church in the Philippines, Baclayon Church ( Church of the our lady of the immaculate concepcion) is a popular tourist spot when you visit Bohol, also it was being run by the Jesuits. I just wish the government would give more budget to national treasures / landmarks like this for the restoration and maintenance.

Bawal taking video of public landmark, kidding! Absolutely, protecting pre-colonial architecture should be a high priority most especially if you are going to promote Philippine tourism! I've visited numerous pre-colonial places in the Philippines and was surprised on how some are not being taken cared of on a daily basis.

@fyn2n17 thank you for watching, since we are promoting tourism i hope that before the government would do any new landmarks or pa-uso, they have to first take care of the repairs of the old and existing once, its so sad to see many of our pre-colonial architecture being neglected and given little priority.These old structures are a part of the identity of being Philippines / Filipino

I hope your wish will come to fruition...I have the same sentiment. I would really like to go over there when we come and visit next month but my time is limited and have to take care of some business in Pampanga. I really appreciate all the vids or upload. show me more. Thanks.
