  • @Mewi987 I'M SO CLEVER; I DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING I READ, EVERYTHING IN NEWSCIENTIST IS A CONSPIRACY TO COVER UP NUCLEAR WARHEADS. I KNOW MORE THAN ALL THE PHD GRADUATES, AND THIS CLEARLY ISN'T POSSIBLE WITH LASERS. YOU MEDIA FOLLOWING, PEER PRESSURED SHEEP.

Some people are just too stupid to be allowed an opinion.

  • @Alexrose12345678910 Obviously this laser is faked, and the moon landing was shot in hollywood, and Michael Jackson isn't dead.

  • @JDzPiT He probably thinks the moon landing was shot in Hollywood.

  • 50-year old film?

  • is like rocket going outerspace.....aircraft is a part of a rocket,,,,

  • But can it stoip Godzilla?

  • @airdefendertango granted more capable, but a SAM missile is around 38,000 dollars a unit. I'm sure the laser is cheaper to run than 38,000 dollars per shot

  • @airdefendertango have you seen infinite supply or reusable missiles?

  • @airdefendertango DARPA is now creating an 150 KW laser ''The goal of DARPA’s High-Energy Liquid Laser Area Defense System (HELLADS) is to develop a 150 kilowatt (kW) laser weapon system that is ten times smaller and lighter than current lasers of similar power, enabling integration onto tactical aircraft to defend against and defeat ground threats. '' so it's not long until we are fighting with lasers

  • kW. Kids today: They know less than half of FA.

  • @airdefendertango you're on a ship, in the middle of nothing...how long can you defend yourself (or something) with a finite amount of missiles and how long with something that runs on electricity?
