My iMac G3 & Wireless LAN stick

This is my iMac G3 surfing the internet with a Wireless LAN stick from the Windows world! I use a ZD1211B chipset and the ZyDas 4.5.7.0 driver. Have fun!

PS: You might say 160 MB RAM is too small for OS X (and you're right), but I got this iMac very cheap (only a few €) and I don't want to spend more money on it. Anyway, it works very good if you don't run too many apps at the same time :-).

Uhm... For my stick, only 10.3 and 10.4 drivers are available, so I was lucky having Panther installed. I think it'll be hard to find a third-party WLAN device with OS 9 support.

These iMac G3s came out in 1999. And they are able to connect to a wireless network if you an airport card with the adapter so that you don't need a stick hanging out on the side. Or you can use the stick. And these things only had a 56K modem on them. Wireless internet on a 12 year old Mac now that is just awesome, and its not a laptop.

My bro found one and gave it to me cause he knows im a geek. He found it in the TRASH!!! I got Itunes 7, camino, and 10.3.9 on there and we're giving it to our mom for mothers day.

i beg to differ on the imac dv thing because the slowest imac dv they made was a 400mhz G3 and they said theres was a 266mhz model wich was a tray loading module
