it is....u just dont reconize it....i see av.exe....this is royally a pain in the ass....previously i was able to get by going into start up settings "msconfig" and disable it from starting up when i boot pc.....was fine enough for me, but this time i cant even do that

heh nvm all i gotta do now is get rid of the av.exe and i should have won my war of me vs virus+my own stupidity. Next time I will know better though. Learning from mistakes!

well after nearly ruining my comp outa stupidity i lucked out on finding out there was a .exe fixing registry i could download which saved my stupid ass. anyways i pretty much stopped all the "av" stuff running during my ie or firefox startups and now it's no longer bugging me but I know the program is still in my computer and I cannot see it no matter what. my superantispyware didn't spot it and it simply seems not to exist. I got the 2010 version of it as I just learned, i fixed the registries

I bought Spyware Doctor today to get rid of this thing. It cost me 40 bucks, but it was well worth it.

which program are you referring to? Obviously the Antivirus XP Pro mentioned in this video is a fake program
